These SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions apply to individuals who choose to communicate with THRIVE by text message or who agree to receive text messages from THRIVE.
THRIVE uses text messaging for one-to-one, service-related communication. THRIVE does not use text messaging for mass marketing campaigns, fundraising messages, promotional campaigns, or promotional text blasts.
By providing your mobile phone number to THRIVE through an intake form, referral form, application, phone call, in-person communication, or by texting a THRIVE staff member directly, you agree that THRIVE may send you text messages related to services, appointments, peer support, resource navigation, transportation coordination, follow-up, and responses to questions you ask us.
Consent to receive text messages from THRIVE is optional and is not a condition of receiving services. You may choose not to receive text messages, and THRIVE may communicate with you through other appropriate methods, such as phone calls, email, in-person communication, or other agreed-upon methods.
Message frequency varies based on your communication with THRIVE and the services or support you are receiving. Message and data rates may apply.
By agreeing to receive text messages, you confirm that the mobile phone number you provide belongs to you or that you have permission to use that number.
You should notify THRIVE right away if:
Text messages are not encrypted and may not be secure. This means text messages could potentially be viewed by someone who has access to your phone, phone account, or wireless service.
THRIVE encourages you to protect your mobile phone with a passcode and to avoid sending highly sensitive personal, medical, or confidential information by text message.
THRIVE uses text messaging only for service-related communication and responses to your questions. THRIVE does not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in consent, mobile phone numbers, or text messaging data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
You may opt out of receiving text messages from THRIVE at any time.
To opt out, reply STOP to a text message from THRIVE or tell a THRIVE staff member that you no longer want to receive text messages. You may also contact THRIVE at (502) 576-9000.
After you opt out, you may receive one final text message confirming that your opt-out request has been received. The confirmation message may say: “THRIVE: You have opted out and will no longer receive text messages from THRIVE. No more messages will be sent.”
After that, THRIVE will no longer send text messages to that mobile phone number unless you give permission to text you again.
Opting out of text messages does not prevent you from receiving services from THRIVE. If you opt out of text messaging, THRIVE may communicate with you through other appropriate methods, such as phone calls, email, in-person communication, or other agreed-upon methods.

THRIVE may update these SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be posted on THRIVE’s website.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not text THRIVE and should opt out of text messages as described above.
